Rules and Conditions

Prior to registering please make sure that you understand and agree to the following:

Participation	The marketindex 2008 Trading Championship is only available to UK residents over the age of 18. Residents of other countries are able to participate however they are excluded from winning prizes. Participants are not eligible if they have a marketindex account in another country. Only one person per household may participate in a game. Participants can register once only. Any participant who is found to have registered more than once will be disqualified. Participation in the game is free. Participants must give their valid contact details in order to collect their prize. Participants must make a minimum of 20 trades over the championship period to qualify for the prizes. Registrations are possible throughout the duration of the game. ABN AMRO and RBS employees are able to participate in playing the championship, however, they are excluded from winning prizes, as are their partners and direct relatives.

Winning Prizes	The decision of ABN AMRO marketindex is final and may not be contested by participants. ABN AMRO marketindex reserves the right to replace prizes in part or entirety with other prizes at its sole discretion. ABN AMRO marketindex will not be responsible and will have no obligation to prize winners for the performance of the prizes and shall to the extent permitted at law not be liable to prize winners for any direct of indirect damage or loss suffered as a result of winning the prize. The winners will have to personally contact the supplier should there be any problems. The winners will also take receipt of the prizes subject to any conditions the supplier may impose. Each winner will be informed by email or post of the procedure to receive their prize. There will be no correspondence in response to participant queries other than to answer questions in respect of the rules. Successful participants authorise ABN AMRO marketindex to publish their personal details and their photos, if available, without the need for any remuneration or further consent.
